
To be honest, the fanboy inside me had some initial concerns that director Jon Favreau had taken too many liberties with Whiplash’s look and strayed a little too far from the source material. But let’s be honest, it’s not like Whiplash is some iconic Marvel character tied that to that old 70’s styled purple and black outfit. Besides, the character’s already been given an updated/grittier look in the current Marvel U., so why not give him a look in the movie that fits with this new universe being created by Marvel Studios.
The second live action Iron Man adaptation is scheduled to hit theaters May 2010.
