Hot Toys’ newest line of 3” Cosbaby vinyl figures couldn’t have been announced a better time. Hot on the heels of the news that Disney has just acquired Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion comes the new 8 figure Disney Friends Cosbaby series featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pinocchio, Stitch and one secret chase figure. I guess I still don’t realize how popular of a character Stitch is, because this little blue alien is popping up everywhere!
The Cosbaby toy line takes your favorite characters and transforms them into a cute baby form. Each Disney Friends Cosbaby stands 3 inches tall and features 5 points of articulation. The Blot has no clue what character will be showing up as the Disney Friends’ chase figure, but my money’s on Pluto. Then again, I’d never have guessed Pinocchio or Stitch would have been included in this toy line’s first wave, so who knows!
The Disney Friends Cosbaby series are expected to hit stores sometime during the fourth quarter of 2009. Each figure will retail for around $10-15 each.
