The Shortpacked! Amber O’Malley Statue

Shotpacked! by David Willis, The Blot’s favorite web comic about a toy store and the crazy people who work there, is releasing the 6 inch Amber O’Malley figurine seen below in conjunction with the good folks at Patch Together. The Amber statue is the first of what The Blot hopes to be a full line of resin figures based on the cast of Shortpacked!, and is currently available for pre-order here for $39.95.

The Shortpacked! Amber O’Malley Statue by David Willis and Patch Together
As any fan of Shortpacked! can attest, Amber’s weapon of choice is a corn popper push-toy, so no Amber figure would be complete without this classic pre-school toy. Best of all, it even comes with little balls floating in the corn popper push-toy’s translucent resin. How cool is that!?! I have to say, Willis and Patch Together did an excellent job taking a 2D character such as Amber and transforming her into a 3D resin figure.

The Shortpacked! Amber O’Malley Statue Side and Back View by David Willis and Patch Together
This killer statue will only be available via preorder, and the preorder period for the Shortpacked! Amber statue ends on October 11, 2009. So if you’re interested in purchasing one make sure you get your order in before Oct. 11th, because once preorders are closed there will be no additional Amber statues produced. Also, Patch Together is estimating that the Shortpacked! Amber O’Malley statue will ship at the end of the year, and you will not be charged for the Shortpacked! resin figure until the statue becomes available. So go buy one today!

Barneyism of the Week - Fantasizing

Wait, don’t tell me you don’t fantasize about other women.

“I do, it’s just not that easy.” - Marshall

False.

I once fantasized about that silhouette chick
you see on a truck’s mud flaps.

Took me less than a mile!

Combining two of my favorite things, the Los Angeles Lakers and Disney, “The Ring” Cheshire Cat was made to honor the LA Lakers' 2009 NBA World Championship and 15th title overall.

Disney x Span of Sunset Key Dog Vinyl Figure

Hot on the heels of Disney's first ever D23 Expo and the announcement of a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Span of Sunset presents one of the most iconic Disney characters ever. Known for its starring role on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, the Key Dog is an iconic part of Disney story-telling lore and you can now add him to your designer vinyl collection!

Disney x Span of Sunset Key Dog Vinyl Figure
As Disney continues to take over the urban vinyl landscape, The Blot continues to be amazed at which characters Disney chooses to give a designer vinyl makeover to. Never in a million years did I think the Key Dog (or Chernabog for that matter) would be immortalized in vinyl, but here he is! It really gives collectors hope that their favorite obscure Disney character will be next.

Disney x Span of Sunset Key Dog Vinyl Figure and Window Box Packaging
The Key Dog comes with a realistic key and squeak bone, and will be packed in the deluxe window box packaging seen above. Expect the Pirates of the Caribbean’s Key Dog to retail for around $50 each.

The Wolfman Mez-Itz Vinyl Figure

Lawrence Talbot transformed into the Wolfman, and Mezco Toyz now transforms him into a Mez-It vinyl figure! The classic Universal Monster returns to theaters everywhere on February 10th, 2010 with The Wolfman, a new big budget feature film starring Academy Award winners Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro. But first he makes his designer vinyl debut in January 2010 with The Wolfman Mez-Itz! When The Blot first saw The Wolfman Mez-Itz at SDCC 2009, I had no idea it was going to be a movie tie-in, but what a great idea! I just hope this movie doesn’t bomb like so many other Wolfman remakes have in the past.

Mezco Toyz - The Wolfman Mez-Itz Vinyl Figure
Mezco’s Wolfman Mez-It transforms Universal’s snarling terror of the moors into a fun designer-vinyl figure. Standing six inches tall, with six points of articulation and based on the new movie’s creature design from Academy Award winner Rick Baker, this Mez-It captures the true essence of The Wolfman. From his terrifying fangs and pointed ears, to his clawed hind paws, this Mez-It is sure to please Wolfman fans everywhere! The Wolfman Mez-Itz retails for $13.00 each and can be pre-ordered now directly from Mezco Toyz here.

Lift Exclusive Doktor A. Mad’l Vinyl Figure Teaser Image

I’ve gotta tell ya, The Blot’s been jonesing for a new production Mad’l from MAD for a while now. And while rumors have been swirling about a Lift exclusive Mad’l from British designer Doktor A. for a few weeks, The Blot’s been waiting for confirmation before announcing the exciting news. Thankfully Lift has finally spilled the beans and announced it will be debuting “an exclusive new limited edition toy you would be MAD to miss” at its upcoming exhibition “Freak Mechanique” by Doktor A!

Freak Mechanique Exhibition - Lift Exclusive Doktor A. Mad’l Vinyl Figure Teaser Image
All we know for sure is the Doktor A. Mad’l’s head will probably look like the logo at the bottom of the poster above, and that little image is enough of a teaser for me to get really excited about this upcoming Mad’l release! There’s been no word yet on the figure’s price and run size, or if MAD and/or Dok A will be at the show’s opening reception. Hopefully more details will leak soon.

“Freak Mechanique,” Doktor A.’s largest solo exhibition to date, opens Saturday, November 14th at Lift in Detroit, Michigan with an opening reception from 7-11pm. “Freak Mechanique” runs from November 14th through December 9th, so if you live in the Detroit area or are within driving distance, be sure to make your plans now to see what is sure to be an amazing show!

Kidrobot - Dunny Series 2009 Chase Wood Dunny Variants by Travis Cain

By now you’re probably aware that not only was one of the chase figures in Kidrobot’s Dunny Series 2009 an actual Wood Dunny by Travis Cain, but the extremely rare figure also had three variants: a Hinged Head Wood Dunny, a Sawed Head Wood Dunny (it has a piece sawed out of the top of its head), and a Drill Wood Dunny (which has holes drilled in it). All four of Cain’s Wood Dunnys can be seen below.

Kidrobot Dunny Series 2009 Chase Wood Dunny Variants by Travis Cain - Wood Dunny
Kidrobot Dunny Series 2009 Chase Wood Dunny Variants by Travis Cain - Drill Wood Dunny
Each figure has its own ratio and each all wood Dunny is unbelievably rare. Travis actually put some of his Artist Proof Wood Dunnys up for sale on eBay, and they all sold for some crazy money. Especially when you consider these are newly released production pieces.

Kidrobot Dunny Series 2009 Chase Wood Dunny Variants by Travis Cain - Saw Wood Dunny
Kidrobot Dunny Series 2009 Chase Wood Dunny Variants by Travis Cain - Hinge Head Wood Dunny
The standard AP Wood Dunny sold for $415, the AP Hinge Head Wood Dunny sold for $560, the AP Saw Wood Dunny sold for $787, and the ultra-rare AP Drill Wood Dunny sold for $3,050! Yes my friends, you’ve read that correctly. Cain’s AP Drill Wood Dunny sold for over 3K! These all wood chase Dunnys have to be some of the most sought after production Dunnys ever.

Tomenosuke Exclusive All White Hi-Def Vinyl Figure by kaNO

In honor of Japanese toy company Tomenosuke’s 3rd anniversary, kaNO, in conjunction with Toy Qube, is releasing an all white version of his popular Hi-Def vinyl figure. This figure looks so dope, the minute The Blot saw the picture below all I could think was how do I get my hands on one of these! Sadly, the figure is a Japan exclusive and only available at Tomenosuke.

The Tomenosuke Exclusive All White Hi-Def vinyl figure is limited to just 50 figures, comes signed and numbered by kaNO (see below), and will go on sale Saturday, October 3rd. There’s been no word yet on the All White Hi-Def figure’s price, but we should know soon.

Lost Screen Print #6 - The 4-Toed Statue by Jason Munn

Jason Munn, an Oakland, California artist well known for his indie rock posters, is the sixth amazing artist to design a limited edition screen print in honor of Lost: The Final Season. Munn’s print, “The 4-Toed Statue,” features my buddy Greene’s favorite Lost mystery, the 4 toed statue. I always figured the writers of Lost would one day explain the significance of this mysterious statue, but I never thought it would play such a significant role in the overall mythology of the island.

Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear Limited Edition Lost Screen Prints - The 4-Toed Statue by Jason Munn
“The 4-Toed Statue” is the sixth screen print released on Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear in honor of Lost’s sixth and final season. The cool thing about this poster is that the gold foot is actually printed in gloss, so it can only be seen from certain angles and in certain lighting. Jason Munn’s limited edition Lost screen print “The 4-Toed Statue” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces, and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print sells for $50 each and can be purchased here while supplies last.

In celebration of LOST's final season and as a project of fan appreciation, 16 top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating one of the series' most memorable, and unforgettable, "water cooler" moments. This ultimate "fan art" was then turned into labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints, limited to an edition of just 300, with less than 200 available to the public through our websites. Each beautiful poster tells its own different story, allowing the fan to relive memorable and influential moments in an artistic manner, as the show's storied run comes to a close. Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again. Celebrate the fandom, community and family created by one of televisions' greatest shows by hanging a little part of its history, inspiration and influence on your wall. (link)

Super7 - Grey Ghost Mongolion by L'amour Supreme

From out of the shadows of the night, the Grey Ghost Mongolion strikes! The last thing his victims see will be their softly illuminated doom. The Blot has no idea how Super7 was able to create this insane looking figure, and to be honest, I can’t stop staring at it. There’s something about the figure’s contrasting grey colors and translucent body that makes L’amour Supreme’s Grey Ghost Mongolion really mesmerizing.

Super7 - Grey Ghost Mongolion by L'amour Supreme
Designed by L'amour Supreme and sculpted by Como Liquid for the Snakes of Infinity line of characters, the 5” Grey Ghost Mongolion will go on sale at the Super7 online store this Saturday, September 26th. No price has been announced yet, but if I had to guess I’d say it will retail for around $60-65 each.

The Flash Uni-Formz Vinyl Figures

The Flash is the fourth character to join DC Direct’s line of stylized limited edition Uni-Formz vinyl figures based on the popular super heroes of the DC Comics Universe. The Blot is really glad to see DC Direct is continuing its Uni-Formz designer toy line, because in these economic times you just never know if a relatively expensive new toy line will get canceled.

DC Direct Uni-Formz Vinyl Figures - The Flash Colorway
The Flash Uni-Formz three figure set features the classic version of The Flash, dressed in his traditional red uniform, the villain Zoom, dressed in his traditional yellow uniform, and death personified, the Black Flash. I know DC Direct is saying this is the “classic version” of The Flash dressed in his “traditional red uniform,” but does anyone else get the feeling that this Flash’s costume is the Wally West version and not the Barry Allen version? Wally is the one with the white eyes and metallic red costume, while Barry’s costume always showed his eyes and had a more traditional red coloring. Plus Barry’s boots had the wings on them, while Wally’s did not.

DC Direct Uni-Formz Vinyl Figures - Zoom Colorway
I know it’s nitpicking, but I’m surprised they didn’t just make a Barry Allen colorway and a Wally West colorway, similar to their release of two different colorways of Batman’s traditional costume. Considering the The Flash Uni-Formz only has three colorways, never in a million years would I have expected one to be the Black Flash. Especially when you consider there have been multiple variations of the Scarlet Speedseter’s costume over the years and a Kid Flash colorway would have been incredibly easy to make. With that being said, I think the Black Flash figure looks very cool, and I love the detailing on the figure’s head!

DC Direct Uni-Formz Vinyl Figures - Black Flash Colorway
In keeping with the tradition of designer toys, certain figures will be more rare than others. In this particular instance, The Flash variants (Zoom and Black Flash) will be produced in far lower quantities than the standard Flash figure. The limited-edition Flash Uni-Formz vinyl figures feature 12 points of articulation, stands approximately 8 inches tall, are packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box and will retail for around $60 each. The Flash Uni-Formz figures will go on sale May 26, 2010.

Kidrobot - Buff Monster 8 Inch Dunny

The Blot’s been dying to find out what Buff Monster’s upcoming 8” Dunny would look like, and now we know! I know Dunnys may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I hope every toy collector and pop culture aficionado can appreciate the beauty of Buff’s new figure.

Kidrobot - Buff Monster 8 Inch Dunny
This is probably the only 8 inch Dunny design in the past two years I’ve actually been anxious to get a look at. I love Buff’s work, and was really intrigued to see which of his signature elements he would choose to include in the figure’s design. It’s not quite as pink as I would have liked, but the Dunny’s gloss coat really makes the figure shine.

Kidrobot - Buff Monster 8 Inch Dunny and Packaging
Kidrobot - Buff Monster 8 Inch Dunny Back
Indulge your sweet tooth with the 8 inch Buff Monster Dunny. Topped with the Buff’s trademark heavy metal inspired ice cream art and limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, this vinyl confection retails for $75 and will be available at Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com and select retailers on October 8.

Barneyism of the Week - How To Keep A Girl From Becoming Your Girlfriend

How do you keep a girl from becoming your girlfriend?
Simple...
The rules for girls are the same as the rules for gremlins.

“Gremlins?” - Ted

Gremlins.

Rule Number 1 - Never Get Them Wet.
In other words don’t let her take a shower at your place.

Number 2 - Keep them away from sunlight,
i.e. don’t ever see them during the day.

And Rule Number 3 - Never feed them after midnight.
Meaning she doesn’t sleep over
and you don’t have breakfast with her.
EVER.

“What about brunch? Is brunch cool?” - Ted

No Ted, brunch is not cool.

How I Met Your Mother - Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson

How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is finally back, and it couldn’t have happened soon enough. Can you believe HIMYM is already into its fifth season!?! All I know is The Blot’s been going through some serious withdraw ever since the end of last season. That Barney/Robin cliffhanger from last season really left me wanting more. And I hoped everyone turned in to watch the great Neil Patrick Harris host the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.

I can honestly say NPH was the best part of the show, and he definitely made the unbearably long award show watchable. My favorite part by far was the Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog sketch featuring Harris, Castle’s Nathan Fillion (Firefly), The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg and Felicia Day (The Guild). Not only did we get an all new Dr. Horrible sketch/song, but Dr. Horrible also took home an Emmy! How cool is that? If for some reason you missed last night’s telecast, you can watch the really funny Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog clip below. Do it now or be forever sorry!

Custom 5 Inch Stealth Guardian Mad'l by MAD

The Blot would have to say my favorite MAD creation is his Guardian character. Everything about MAD’s Guardian figures are just plain awesome, from its crazy details to its multi-dimensional wings. While a production piece has never been made, much to The Blot’s chagrin, 5 handmade limited edition Stealth Guardian Mad’ls were recently produced by the Kansans City artist. I could go on and on about my love of MAD’s Guaridan figures, but take a look at them for yourself. These figures are sick!

Set of 5 Custom Hand Painted 5 Inch Stealth Guardian Mad’ls by MAD
Custom Hand Painted 5 Inch Stealth Guardian Mad’ls by MAD Side and Back View
Each one of a kind, hand panted 5” Stealth Guardian Mad’l includes removable plastic wings that fit into the back of the figure, and comes signed and numbered by the artist. 3 Stealth Guardian Mad’ls still remain, and you can purchase one directly from MAD at his official eBay store for $400 each.

Pearl Jam - Backspacer

As most of you know, The Blot is a diehard Pearl Jam fan, so I’m excited to say my next two weeks are going to be very Pearl Jam centric. This is because yesterday, Sunday, September 20th, Pearl Jam released its ninth studio album, Backspacer. Then in a two weeks Aly and I will be driving to Austin to see Pearl Jam headline the 2009 Austin City Limits Music Festival. I really can’t wait!

2009 Pearl Jam Black and White Photo
Since Backspacer dropped yesterday, the first thing I did on Sunday was head down to my local Target to purchase the album. I've been listening to the album non-stop since I got it yesterday, and I really like it. Now it’s obviously not my favorite Pearl Jam album, but I do like it more than the band’s last album, the self-titled Pearl Jam. I think the fact that the country is no longer under the command of the Bush regime has freed PJ up to focus their immense talent on other issues and topics, which has allowed their creativity to flourish.

Pearl Jam - Backspacer Album Cover by Tom Tomorrow
One of my favorite parts of the new album is its cover! It was designed by Tom Tomorrow (a.k.a. editorial cartoonist Dan Perkins), who is best well known for his liberal slanted weekly comic strip This Modern World. Tomorrow’s artwork for the album’s cover, packaging and inside booklet is really cool looking and all over the place. Each drawing in Backspacer has a very pop art feel to it, which of course I love, and it's going to look really killer as a screen print for one of Pearl Jam’s upcoming concerts.

For those of you wanting to pick up a copy of Backspacer on cd or vinyl, please remember the album is a Target exclusive, which sort of explains why it was released on a Sunday instead of this Tuesday. The album is also available on iTunes and local indie music stores nationwide.

Dunny Series 2009 PON Golden Ticket AP Murder Pigeon 3 Inch Dunny

The one Dunny Series 2009 figure The Blot still needs goes on sale later today! Pon has added some paint to his 3” GT Artist Proofs to make them look good and bloody, and rechristened the figures Pon's Murder Pigeon Dunnys. The paint Pon added to each figure by hand really gives his Pigeon Dunny an evil look, and I love it! Sadly, the Artist Proof Golden Ticket Murder Pigeon Dunnys are way out of The Blot’s price range (they retail for $300 each!). But I would be more than happy to accept one as a gift! ;)

Kidrobot - Dunny Series 2009 PON Golden Ticket Artist Proof Murder Pigeon 3 Inch Dunny
Pon’s Artist Proof Golden Ticket Murder Pigeon Dunnys will retail for $300 each and go on sale today, Saturday, September 19th, at 1pm eastern on Pon’s online store.

Dunny Series 2009 Golden Ticket PON 3 Inch Pigeon Dunny

Earlier today Pon officially unveiled the design of his Golden Ticket 3” Dunny. It seems like every artist nowadays has a niche, and Pon’s pigeon theme is a great one. I’d dare say he’s done more to improve the image of New York City’s pigeon population than anyone has ever been done before. Pon’s pigeons show up in everything he does, and his GT is no exception. Just check out his great Pigeon Dunny design below:

Kidrobot - Dunny Series 2009 Golden Ticket PON Pigeon Dunny Front and Back
What can I say, The Blot loves the Dunny Series 2009 GT 3 inch Dunny. Now I’ve just got to figure out a way to get one. For those of you willing to shell out some big $$$ for one, Pon’s putting his GT Artist Proofs up for sale tomorrow, Saturday, September 19th, on his online store at 1pm eastern.

Bruce Lee Blue Screen Print by David Flores

David Flores’ latest screen print “Bruce” has The Blot all kinds of excited. I saw a teaser of this very cool print back in July on the Something.Ill blog, and I’ve been itching to get my hands on one every since. How cool would this print look next to the blue version of Flores’ Heidi Klum Print?

David Flores - Bruce Lee Blue Screen Print
Entitled “Bruce” after its subject Bruce Lee, this 6 color screen print measures 18” x 24”, has a limited edition run size of 55 prints and comes signed and numbered by the artist. Bruce retails for $55 and can be purchased directly from David Flores at his online store here. A word to the wise, if you’re thinking about snagging one of these blue Bruce Lee prints act fast, because only 13 prints remain.

PaperMonster x DirtyPilot “Friends With Knives” Art Show

DirtyPilot.com x PaperMonster Friends With Knives Stencil Art Show
You all know The Blot is a huge fan of stencil graffiti art, so I was intrigued the moment I heard of the upcoming online stencil art show curated by PaperMonster and DirtyPilot.com entitled "Friends With Knives." "Friends With Knives," which opens this Friday, September 18th, features some of today's most talented stencil artists. The aim of “Friends With Knives” is to highlight the beauty behind stencil graffiti styles/techniques such as photo-realism, pop, and political stencils at global level with artists hailing from Iran, Germany, USA, Australia, France and the United Kingdom.

PaperMonster - Never Again 24 Inches x 30 Inches Stencil Collage On Canvas
The "Friends With Knives" group art show will be on display at DirtyPilot.com from September 18th - October 18th, and features works from artists such as LECKOmio, E.L.K., SOULE, Peat Wollaeger, PaperMonster, L.E.T. , Nathan Phaneuf , A1One , Billy Mode, Ben Slow, Koleszar, Dave Lowell, Mefee, Roy Schreuder, and HAHA. To find out more information about this killer looking show, be sure to check out DirtyPilot.com or the official PaperMonster website.

Kidrobot x The Simpsons 6 Inch Kang & Mystery Chase Kodos Vinyl Figures

The second (and third) Simpsons 6” figure released by Kidrobot this month is the evil alien Kang and the not so mysterious chase Kodos. Now these are awesome figures, and I’m glad to see Kidrobot continue to recreate more and more of Matt Groening’s classic characters in 3 and 6 inch vinyl form.

Kidrobot x The Simpsons 6 Inch Kang & Mystery Chase Kodos Vinyl Figures
Kidrobot x The Simpsons 6 Inch Kang & Mystery Chase Kodos Vinyl Figures and Packaging
Prepare to subjugate mankind with Kang & Kodos, the evil, cycloptic aliens from Matt Groening’s The Simpsons. Spread interstellar misery with either the salivating Kang or the mystery chase Kodos. These blind boxed, galactic goofballs stand 6-inches tall, retail for $29.95 and arrive at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and select retailers on October 8.

Kidrobot x The Simpsons 6 Inch Ralph Wiggum Vinyl Figure

I had a feeling we’d be seeing more Kidrobot x The Simpsons vinyl figures due to the popularity of Kidrobot’s Simpsons 3 inch series, but I never imagined a release like this! Instead of a second series of 3” figures, we’re getting a 6 inch Ralph Wiggum. Now I love Ralph as much as the next guy, but I would have thought KR would launch a line of 6” The Simpsons figures with a more marketable character like Bart, Homer or even Mr. Burns.

Kidrobot x The Simpsons 6 Inch Ralph Wiggum Vinyl Figure
Venture to the deep end of the sandbox with Ralph Wiggum, the awkwardly endearing, paste-eating loser from Matt Groening’s The Simpsons. Choo-choo-choose this lovable 6-inch figure, which comes with one of two random accessories (a bottle of paste for Ralph to eat or a leprechaun) and retails for $29.95. Ralph hits Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and select retailers on October 8.

Super7 - Green Hell Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer

One of The Blot’s favorite exclusives from SDCC 2009 was Super7’s “blank” Rose Vampire, an all new vinyl figure from the mind of Josh Herbolsheimer. At the time, the only way to get a Rose Vampire vinyl figure was as a part of S7’s SDCC 09 exclusive Monster Family 3-pack, which also included “blank” all-white versions of Bwana Spoons’ Steven the Bat and Le Merde’s Holis. But in two weeks, fans will be able to purchase the first ever colorway of this exciting new figure, the Green Hell Rose Vampire!

Super7 - Green Hell Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer
From beneath the soil, the Green Hell Rose Vampire is born! Cast in green vinyl with red, dark green, soft yellow and light blue spay, this adorable sprout stalks the living who would destroy the Earth from whence it came. The Green Hell Rose Vampire will go on sale starting Saturday, September 26th at Super7’s online store and retail for probably around $25 (it could be as much as $40 though).

Dunny Series 2009 Golden Ticket PON Pigeon Dunny Sneak Peek

Yesterday on Twitter Pon decided to give the world a little teaser of his soon to be released Dunny Series 2009 Golden Ticket Pigeon Dunny! (link) The Blot’s been dying to see what Pon’s GT Dunny would look like, and now we kind of know. The image’s blurry of course, but if you squint just right you can make out Pon’s second awesome looking Dunny in Kidrobot’s Series 2009.

Kidrobot - Dunny Series 2009 Golden Ticket PON Pigeon Dunny Sneak Peek
Pon will be putting his Golden Ticket Artist Proofs up for sale sometime soon. As soon as we know more The Blot will be sure to let you all know!

Johnny Cupcakes x Warner Bros. Looney Tunes T-Shirts

On Saturday, September 12th, Johnny Cupcakes unveiled its new series of Looney Tunes t-shirts. The Blot has no idea who came up with the idea of this exclusive, half-baked collaboration with Warner Bros., but it turned out great! JC took some of his favorite classic cartoon characters and brought them back with a Johnny Cupcakes twist. These clever Johnny Cupcakes x Looney Tunes shirts feature Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn and Henery Hawk.

Johnny Cupcakes x Warner Bros. Looney Toons T-Shirts - Bakery Bugs Bunny T-Shirt
Johnny Cupcakes x Warner Bros. Looney Toons T-Shirts - Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck T-Shirt
Foghorn and Henery were always my favorite B-list Looney Tunes characters, so I was really excited to see them included in the JC x WB Looney Tunes t-shirt series. But I have to ask, where the heck is Porky Pig, Sylvester and Tweety, the Tasmanian Devil and Pepe Le Pew!?! I know you can't include everyone, but can you imagine how killer a Pepe Le Pew Johnny Cupcakes t-shirt would have been? And if nothing else, Porky should have gotten the nod over Bugs to appear in the classic Looney Tunes logo on the back of the t-shirts saying his famous closing line “Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-That's all folks!”

Johnny Cupcakes x Warner Bros. Looney Toons T-Shirts - Foghorn Leghorn and Henery Hawk T-Shirt
Johnny Cupcakes x Warner Bros. Looney Toons T-Shirts - Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny T-Shirt

Lost Screen Print #5 - The Love Triangle by Leia Bell

This week’s official Lost screen print is entitled “The Love Triangle” and was designed by artist Leia Bell. While I don’t know much about Bell, I would recognize the scene depicted in “The Love Triangle” anywhere. It’s the moment Jack first sees Kate and Sawyer locked in love’s sweet embrace while locked up in the Polar Bear cage. Of course it was all orchestrated by everyone’s favorite misunderstood mass murderer, Benjamin Linus. To many Lost fans the Jack/Kate/Sawyer love triangle is one of the show’s greatest mysteries. Who will Kate ultimately end up with?

Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear Limited Edition Lost Screen Prints - The Love Triangle by Leia Bell
“The Love Triangle” is the fifth screen print released on Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear in honor of Lost’s sixth and final season. Leia Bell’s limited edition Lost screen print “The Love Triangle” measures 24”x18”, has a run size of 300 pieces, and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist.

(link)
