Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy Official Release Set For November 23rd

Guns N' Roses logoHell may have finally frozen over. The long rumored and much maligned fifth GNR album from Axl Rose is finally going to see the light of day. After working on it for over 10 years, Rose has finally signed off on Chinese Democracy’s release. This news is probably a shock to many in the music industry and GNR fans after numerous promises of a new Guns N’ Roses album have come and gone with no album ever hitting store shelves.

But have no fear, this time it sounds like a done deal. Especially due to the involvement of retail giant Best Buy. GNR’s Chinese Democracy will “be a Best Buy exclusive and will be available Sunday, Nov. 23, rather than the usual Tuesday.” (link)

Truth be told, some of the tracks that briefly leaked a few months back were actually pretty good, which surprises The Blot considering how M.I.A. Rose has been for over a decade. That being said, I really have no interest in Axl or the Slash/Duff-less Guns N’ Roses anymore except to see what kind of train wreck this all turns into. If there is one thing I can be sure of it is that Axl will somehow screw his return to the spotlight up.
