After my post earlier this month about The Goonies x Puma Disc Blaze sneakers, I was contacted by Mickey Maloof, co-founder of The Official McFLY 2015 Project, to rebuff my comment that The Goonies sneakers were the best 80’s movie tie-in sneakers of 2008. You see The McFLY 2015 Project is a grassroots movement to get the futuristic-looking sneakers seen in the 1989 movie Back to the Future Part 2 made. Evidently they’re pretty persuasive because Nike finally caved in and created these awesome looking sneakers.Unfortunately, most BttF fans had no shot at these ultra limited edition sneakers, which are already selling for big bucks on the secondary market.
