Jock is teaming up with Mondo again for a very special release! Following in the footsteps of Olly Moss’ timed edition The Dark Knight Rises screen print, Jock is self-producing a timed edition screen print of his beautiful cover of DC Comics' Detective Comics #880 featuring the Clown Prince of Crime, The Joker!
“Joker: The Black Mirror” comes from the Black Mirror storyline that ran through Detective Comics back in 2011. The cover to Detective Comics issue 880 became an iconic image of The Joker upon release, and is now being released as a beautiful 24”x18” screen print. The Standard Edition Joker: The Black Mirror Screen Print will be released as a timed edition, meaning the number of prints made will be based on orders during a 48 hour period beginning today, Wednesday, August 7th, at 8am PST. Each print will come hand numbered, and retail for $50 at Jock’s online store.
But wait, there’s more! Jock is also releasing a super rare Hand Finished Variant for $150 each. This release will be identical to the regular, but with the red screen removed from the mouth. Jock will then go in and hand paint and embellished the Joker’s mouth on each print, making each one truly a one of a kind piece! Only 25 of these pieces will be available and they took will go on sale at Jock’s online store today, Wednesday, August 7th, at 8am PST.
