These six new The Avengers character one sheet movie posters from Marvel are seriously all over the place. Some look cool, while others are photoshop disasters. I’ve come to expect so much more from Marvel’s Avengers marketing campaign than these so/so international posters. What is up with the ghost of Captain America in the back of the Black Widow poster!?! With that being said, there are some aspects of these posters I love.
First up, Captain America is finally wearing his mask! Chris Evans is cool, but I always think he looks so weird wearing his Captain America uniform without its mask. This is Sentinel of Libertty I’ve come to know and love. Second, how cool is the Hawkeye/Hulk poster!?! I think it’s the best designer poster of the bunch. Third, I love that the team's b-list heroes (Black Widow, Hawkeye and the Hulk) are finally getting some respect by being featured prominently in two posters each. And last but not least, can you say Maria Hill! Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill finally made her world debut in an Avengers one sheet as back up to her SHIELD boss, Nick Fury.
