Written and directed by John Lasseter,
Tin Toy was
MINDstyle’s first choice in selecting from the
Pixar short films library. Lasseter designed Tinny as a one man band back in 1988 in the classic inventive short film that preceded the blockbuster Pixar Animation Studios feature films like
Finding Nemo,
Cars and
Toy Story.
To capture the same style and approach of the short film, the collectible figure was designed to duplicate a tin toy, but is produced with vinyl materials and hand painted. Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, the Tin Toy art toy collectible (ATC) vinyl figures will launch at San Diego Comic-Con 2010.
