Scrubs 2.0 Promo Poster - Season 9 Premieres Tuesday, Dec 1st on ABC
While Zach Braff’s J.D. will still appear in a handful of episodes, the show will now be narrated by Kerry Bishe’s Lucy Bennett, a new medical student at Winston University, which is a pretty significant change if I do say so myself. I am relieved to hear Sarah Chalke’s Dr. Elliot Reid, Sam Lloyd’s Ted Buckland and Robert Maschino’s The Todd will be appearing sporadically throughout Scrubs’ ninth season, but I’m worried the show won’t have the same rhythm and feel it once did, especially with Scrubs creator and show runner Bill Lawrence focusing much of his attention on his new ABC comedy, Cougar Town.
I will say, even with all my reservations I am still elated to have Scrubs returning for another season. While I’d prefer to watch the Janitor roaming the halls of Sacred Heart, I’ll take Scrubs 2.0 any day over the alternative (i.e. a Scrubs-less world). Joining Scrubs as series regulars this season is previously recurring cast member Eliza Coupe (former intern turned student advisor Denise Mahoney aka Jo), and newcomers Michael Mosley and Dave Franco as new medical students.
Scrubs Season 9 premieres on ABC tomorrow night, Tuesday, December 1st, at 8/9c.
Lost Screen Print #15 - The Polar Bear by Jay Ryan
I’m interested in finding out if anyone else has tried to purchase these Lost alternate reality game screen prints, and if so which ones have you been lucky enough to purchase?
Jay Ryan’s limited edition Lost screen print “The Polar Bear” measures 18”x24”, is printed on brown paper, has a run size of 300 pieces and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print could have been purchased here for $50, but like all of the other screen prints released in this series it sold out in under 2 minutes.
In celebration of LOST's final season and as a project of fan appreciation, 16 top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating one of the series' most memorable, and unforgettable, "water cooler" moments. This ultimate "fan art" was then turned into labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints, limited to an edition of just 300, with less than 200 available to the public through our websites. Each beautiful poster tells its own different story, allowing the fan to relive memorable and influential moments in an artistic manner, as the show's storied run comes to a close. Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again. Celebrate the fandom, community and family created by one of televisions' greatest shows by hanging a little part of its history, inspiration and influence on your wall. (link)

The Hundreds x Dark Horse Comics Usagi Yojimbo Limited Edition T-Shirts by Stan Sakai
Yes, you read that title correctly! Designer clothing label The Hundreds is teaming up with Dark Horse Comics to release a line of Usagi Yojimbo t-shirts to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Stan Sakai’s famous long eared ronin samurai! This collaboration has The Blot very excited, as one of my all time favorite comic book characters finally hits the mainstream with a line of designer t-shirts.
On Saturday, November 21st, The Hundreds will be releasing two limited edition t-shirts at the company’s flagship stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Blot is already trying to convince my friends in LA and San Fran to hook me up with the awesome blue UY tee seen above.
The back of each shirt features the logos of all three parties involved in this killer release, The Hundreds’ Bomb logo, Stan Sakai’s signature, and the Dark Horse Comics logo. Both The Hundreds x Dark Horse Comics Usagi Yojimbo limited edition t-shirts feature new artwork by Stan Sakai made specifically for this release, and each shirt is limited to just 200 of each design.
To mark this very special occasion, on Saturday Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai will be at The Hundreds’ LA location from 11am to 12pm to sign copies of the latest issue of his monthly comic. (link) Also, the first 25 people to arrive will receive a signed copy of the first ever full color Usagi Yojimbo graphic novel entitled Yokai! How cool is that!?!

T.W.O.C. the Elf 2009 Holiday Dunny Chase by TADO
No word yet on whether or not there is a rarer 3rd chase, but it sounds like T.W.O.C. the Evil Elf has been pretty easy to find even with its 1:10 ratio. I was surprised to learn that T.W.O.C. (which I can only guess stands for “Taking Without Owner’s Consent”) has elfin ears instead of classic Dunny ears like almost every other production Dunny released to date. The Dunny’s ears personify its signature look, and I was shocked to find out Kidrobot replaced them on its 2009 Holiday Dunny chase.
T.W.O.C. comes with a crowbar and hat, and retails for $9.95 each. You can purchase the 2009 3 Inch Holiday Dunny by TADO here.

Is “We’ve Got Some Work To Do Now” the ultimate pop culture t-shirt or what!?! It has everything…Scooby-Doo, Zombies, and the Mystery Machine outfitted to battle all forms of the undead. Plus, this has to the most kick-ass version of Velma Dinkley ever created! It’s just too bad Fred, Daphne and Shaggy didn’t live long enough to see this shirt printed. I’ve got a feeling this shirt won’t last long on Threadless, so if you want one buy it now!
You can purchase the “We’ve Got Some Work To Do Now” t-shirt at Threadless.com for $18 each in guys and girls styles, sizes S-3XL.
Barneyism of the Week - The Playbook
That’s right, Barney Stinson is back on the market!
Mothers, lock up your daughters.
Daughters, lock up your MILSWANCAs.
“MILSWANCAs?” - Marshall
“Wait, wait I can get this.
Mothers I’d Like to Sleep With And Never Call Again” - Ted
Correct, circle gets the square.
“Don’t you think you’re kind of rushing back into this?” - Lily
Lily, since I started dating Robin
there’s a certain…thing I haven’t used as much as I would like to.
It’s kind of big, surprisingly heavy, kind of leathery
and its black.
This, my friends, is The Playbook.
The Playbook contains every scam, con, hustle, hoodwink,
gambit, flim-flam, stratagem and bamboozle
I’ve ever used, or ever hope to use,
to pick up chicks and give em the business.
- Barney Stinson

The Jeeves & Jeeves Co. Autonomous Self Winding Domestic Mad’l comes dressed in formal attire, and doesn't it look dashing in its black and grey tuxedo? Alice In Wonderland One Sheet Movie Posters
I seriously don’t know where Burton comes up with his ideas, but his vision is definitely unlike any others’. I seriously can’t wait to see this movie, but what’s really bad is we still have three and a half more months to wait before Alice In Wonderland hits theaters. Shouldn’t this have been Disney’s big holiday release!?! I know kids and adults alike will be lining on March 5, 2010 to journey down the rabbit hole in amazing Disney 3D.
Alice In Wonderland is directed by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas and Christopher Lee.

Pearl Jam Concert Posters by Tom Tomorrow
While I love Tom’s ode to Chicago, the real reason I’m writing this post is because of the amazing Halloween themed concert poster set he designed for Pearl Jam’s four night stay at Philadelphia’s The Spectrum. If you haven’t heard already, The Spectrum closed for good after Pearl Jam’s final show there on Halloween 2009. Pearl Jam played four shows at The Spectrum, October 27th, 28th, 30th and 31st, and played almost every song the band has ever recorded. To go along with Pearl Jam’s four shows in Philly, Tomorrow designed four posters (1 for each night) that could stand alone individually or, when placed next to each other, form one giant retro pop culture costume party themed image.
According to Tomorrow, “since these were for a series of shows the week of Halloween, my idea was to have a giant retro pop-culture costume-party theme - superheroes, robots, space people, monsters, etc., along with a number of band-related/requested ‘cameos’ in the background, all (at least in my mind’s eye) comprising the audience to the last shows at the Spectrum.”
If you are interested in purchasing these awesome Halloween inspired Pearl Jam concert posters, Tom Tomorrow will most likely be selling a signed and numbered edition of these sometime early next year, around February or so. They’ll be available as complete sets of four only, and an exact price has not yet been set. If you’re interested in a set, Tom’s compiling a waiting list which you can add your name to by sending an email to him at tom(dot)tomorrow (at) gmail (dot) com with “Philly waiting list” in the subject line. Please note, you are not placing an actual order and he is not taking any money at this time. But when he does eventually do the sale, priority will be given to those on the list.
Star Wars Shop Exclusive Garden Jawa Statue
I have to say, this might be the first item I’ve ever featured here on The Blot Says… that I would considered purchasing for my mom! She’s a big Star Wars fan, and the Garden Jawa would go great with the random collection of creatures she has displayed throughout her front yard, garden and forest area.
The Star Wars Shop exclusive Garden Jawa retails for $34.99 each, and is currently available for pre-order here. The Garden Jawa can be delivered worldwide (except in Mexico) and is expected to ship on December 9, 2009, just in time for the holidays!

Kick-Ass Character Movie Posters and Trailer
These one sheet character movie posters look great, and I’m really digging the film’s first trailer that hit the internet a few days ago. I’d go into the comic book/movie’s plot, but I really don’t know much and I think the trailer about sums it up. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Kick-Ass the movie debuts in theaters on April 16, 2010, while you can purchase Kick-Ass the comic book, published by Marvel Comics under its Icon imprint, monthly at your local comic book shop.
Barneyism of the Week - The Star Wars Altercation

It’s not a diaper Robin, it’s protective armor.
“Stormtrooper, more like stormpooper.” - Robin

“Pbttttttttt! Whoa!
Sounds like your stormpooper here needs a changing!” - Robin
